Nexstream 360 is included for all customers using a Plume pod. The following are some of the most used parental control features available with Nexstream 360. Remember to check the Nexstream 360 Basics page for more information.
The fastest way to set a freeze for a single device
- At the bottom of the app screen, tap on the icon of two people.
- Using either the People or Devices tabs at the bottom, tap the device you want to freeze.
- Tap the Pause button on the right side of the screen.
- Select your desired options and edit as needed.
Create an Internet timeout for multiple devices
- On the home screen under the Control section, choose “Set Time out”.
- Choose how long the time out will last by tapping the + button on the right.
- You’ll see a list of all devices connected to your network. Select the devices you want to be included in the time out. For a global freeze across all devices, tap the checkmark to select all.
- Select Done and you’ll return to the home screen.
- Pause or edit as needed. To cancel, return to the time out settings and deselect all devices, then choose Done.
Schedule recurring Internet freezes (great for daily homework time or bedtime)
- At the bottom of the app screen, tap on the icon of two people.
- If you want to set the freeze for a person’s devices that have been assigned to them, use the People tab at the bottom. If you just want to freeze by device and not device owner, choose the Devices tab.
- Select “Schedule internet freeze”
- From here you’ll be able to set repeating days and times to freeze connectivity for a device.
Set content access for a device (used for blocking inappropriate content)
- At the bottom of the app screen, tap on the icon of two people.
- Select the device you want to restrict access for. Remember, you can choose devices based on owner or from the device list using the two tabs at the bottom.
- In the Events section, select the gray gear icon on the right.
- Tap Content access.
- Choose the option that best fits your needs.
