Nexstream 360 Basics

Nexstream 360 is included for all customers using a Plume pod. There are a lot of customization options available. Here we’ll cover some of the basics to get you going.

Create a new person profile

1. At the bottom of the app screen, tap on the icon of two people.
2. Tap the + in the top right corner and choose Create a person.
3. Enter desired info and tap next.
4. Choose the settings for the new profile and tap next.
5. You’ll see the new profile in the list of people.

Assign a single device to a person or room

1. At the bottom of the app screen, tap on the icon of two people.
2. Tap the Devices tab at the bottom.
3. Select the device you want to assign.
4. Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner.
5. To assign to a person, tap “Assigned to” and select the person.
6. To assign to a room, tap + Assign device to room.

Assign multiple devices to a person

1. At the bottom of the app screen, tap on the icon of two people.
2. Tap the profile you’d like to assign a device to (see above to create a new profile)
3. Choose all devices you’d like to assign to the profile and tap next.
4. Select the person’s primary device (typically a smartphone) and tap done.

Block or approve a website

1. From the home screen under the Guard section, tap the button labeled Guarding home.
2. Select which devices you want the rule to apply to.
3. Choose either the Approved or Blocked tabs.
4. Click the top link and enter the website address or ip address.
5. Remove sites from either list using the three dots on the right.

Set a guest password

You don’t always want guests to have your main WiFi password or access to your network outside of connectivity. In these cases, you’ll have a couple of options to choose.

1. From the home screen, tap the 3 horizontal lines in the bottom right.
2. Tap Adapt.
3. You’ll be able to set Guests or Internet Only passwords from here.
   • Use Guest password to allow use to the Internet plus have access to chosen devices on your network. Use this if your Guest needs access to Smart technology in your home, such as lighting or entry locks.
   • Use Internet Only for Internet without access to any other devices.
4. Tap Done.
